Meggs ‘…OWN WORST ENEMY’ - Melbourne

Following on from his successful solo exhibition ‘Alter Egotism’ at Utopian Slumps in 2007, Meggs continues with his obsession with the ‘duality of self’ to further explore definitions of moral judgement and social responsibility in ‘…OWN WORST ENEMY’, proudly presented by Stussy. Following their primary sponsorship of the event, Stussy will be collaborating with Meggs on some upcoming exclusive tee designs and in-store artwork.

The show features a new collection of works subverting heroic ideals, childhood heroes
and alter egos by expressing their struggle with self-conscience and exploring themes
of heroism, machismo, power and vulnerability.

Opening Night: 25th September, 6pm – 9pm
